Summer Berry, Banana & Avocado Smoothie

This glass of deliciousness is a brilliant way to make the most of summer berries and avocados. Topped with toasted nuts and seeds and a dollop of super thick yoghurt such as Greek natural yoghurt, coconut yoghurt or Puhoi Valley Divine Berries, it's a great way to start your day!

  • 1 banana, sliced into rounds and frozen

  • 1/4 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)

  • 1/4 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)

  • 1/3 avocado

  • 1/2 cup almond milk (or cow or soy milk) - add extra milk if you don't want it as thick

  • 1 large handful of kale leaves, washed and torn into smaller pieces

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

To serve:

  • Toasted nuts and seeds

  • Dollop of thick yoghurt (optional)

  • Vanilla powder (optional)

  1. Place all of the ingredients into a high-powered blender or Nutri-bullet and blend until thick and creamy. You may have to stop the blender and scrape everything down a few times during the process.

  2. Serve topped with some toasted nuts and seeds and creamy yoghurt.


Gluten-free (check soy milk), Dairy-free (with soy or nut milk and coconut yoghurt)
