Wedding Day Green Juice
I was recently very blessed to be a bridesmaid for a dear friend of mine, To ensure the beautiful bride and the bridesmaids had the energy and stamina to last the day, I whipped up this delicious green juice along with my layered chia pudding for us to enjoy as a wedding day breakfast.
This juice is so simple to make and ensures you get a good dose of healthy green vegetables and their nutrients to start your day. I like to enjoy this green juice with chia pudding or my homemade muesli for breakfast as the chia seeds and nuts provide a valuable source of protein that ensures you stay feeling satisfied all morning. However, the green juice alone would make an early morning snack or a nutritious snack between meals.
Green Juice – serves 1-2
1 large banana
1 cup coconut water
1 avocado, flesh scooped out
1 large bunch kale, leaves only - washed
Place all of the ingredients into a high-powered blender or Nutribullet and blend until combined. Thin the mixture with water if required. Pour into serving glasses and enjoy!
