Banana, Peanut Butter and Cacao Smoothie

This morning I was lucky enough to present a nutrition seminar to the talented group of young New Zealander’s representing our fine nation at the International World Skills Championships in Sau Paulo, Brazil next August. It was quite an early start to a usually sleepy Sunday morning as the dear pooch still needed a run before breakfast!

Once home, I just happened to open my phone and a delicious looking breakfast smoothie care of Nadia Lim was the very first thing I saw. I just couldn’t do anything else until I made this delicious looking thick shake. I altered the amounts slightly as it was breakfast for one this morning (someone was still sleeping!).

It is seriously the best smoothie combination and I literally can’t wait to jump out of bed in the morning to make it tomorrow (super fuel for the Kaikoura races tomorrow too!). I know I say this each time I post a smoothie recipe, but I swear they just keep getting better and better and more delicious. This one is top of the smoothie pops. I promise.
