Five reasons to love breakfast…or to start.

I absolutely adore breakfast. I couldn't live without out it and I want you all to feel the same way! Here are just a few reasons why I would encourage you all to start the day with a nutritious breakfast...

  1. People who eat breakfast tend to weigh less than those who don’t eat breakfast. A key reason why a nutritious breakfast is so important to support successful weight loss and weight-maintenance.

  2. Breakfast-eaters tend to have better concentration throughout the day, whether this be children in a classroom or adults at work.

  3. Those people who enjoy a healthy breakfast each morning tend to have a higher intake of fibre, vitamins and minerals to support optimal health.

  4. Breakfast-eaters tend to make healthier food choices later in the day. Most probably because they are not starving and ready to devour anything in sight!

  5. A nutritious breakfast sets you up for the day. It provides your body with energy and nourishment before a busy day ahead. You’re starting the day as you intend to finish it, with something delicious & nutritious.

My absolute favourite breakfast is my homemade Crunchy Coconut & Nut Muesli (pictured above). Trust me, this is so delicious and good for you, it will have you leaping out of bed to start the day!
