Mango, Banana & Avocado Smoothie
This recipe came about after I was looking through the Whole cookbook and found a beautiful Sunshine Smoothie recipe by the talented Kelly Gibney of Bonnie Delicious Blog.
Unfortunately, I didn’t have everything to make the recipe exactly so I decided to use the recipe as a guide and substitute a few ingredients for what I had at home and the end result was a deliciously creamy, very happy smoothie! I would highly recommend investing in the WHOLE cookbook – every page is delightful!
Mango, Banana & Avocado Smoothie -serves 1
½ mango, peeled and chopped
1 banana, sliced and frozen
¼-1/2 avocado
1Tbspn runny honey
¼ tsp ground turmeric
Little freshly grated nutmeg
¾ cup of water
Handful ice
To serve - toasted pumpkin seeds and coconut chips
Place all of the ingredients into a high-powdered blender or Nutri-bullet and blitz until super smooth and creamy.
Top with the toasted pumpkin seeds and coconut chips
